The City of Gosnells is responsible for managing over $1.5 billion in assets, including approximately 594km of pathways on behalf of the community.
As a part of their ongoing, long-term efforts to optimise the use of these assets, improve the quality of life for residents and reduce vehicle usage, the city has been specifying the use of Lock Joint™ when rehabilitating its existing footpaths and constructing new, dual use pathways and cycleways for over 15 years. In 2002 the City of Gosnells won the Heart Foundation’s Local Government Awards for their Path Networks Improvement Project.
We were so happy to have been chosen to support the City of Gosnells in creating infrastructure to encourage residents to be more physically active, take action to prevent deterioration and increase the longevity of their pathways.
